iZeit is an easy to use online PHP calendar and to-do list. iZeit is an easy to use online PHP calendar and to-do list. Features:Native TranslationiZeit has been translated into several languages by native speakers. These include Turkish, Dutch, German, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese. Each user can choose their own language.Multiple display modes Events can be viewed either by day, week, month or year. Popups are shown when you move the mouse over an event containing information about the event.To-Do List iZeit features a to-do list which includes categories, enabling you to keep track of upcoming tasks. Tasks change colours as their deadline approaches. The to-do list is optional and can be disabled.Customizable categories Each event can be assigned to a category, making them more organised and easier to find. You can view all events in a category, or use the above display modes to filter by category.Different access levels You can add an unlimited number of users, all with their own login name and password. You have the option to assign which permissions users have; and can configure accounts so users can only view events, or view and edit, or view, edit and delete events. You can also manage who has access to the control panel. Each user can choose their own theme, language and other personal settings without affecting anyone else. As an administrator, you will always be able to keep track of your users' events.Repeating events Similar to Microsoft Outlook, each event can be assigned an interval with which it recurs. Extensive patterns are available, allowing you to set an item to recur on the nth day of each month, every other thursday, or virtually any other conceivable pattern.Integration on other pages If you need a calendar for your blog or portfolio site, iZeit's blog mode will let you quickly display a calendar with one line of code. The calendar links to the full version of iZeit so visitors can check events at a glance, or look at them in full detail.RSS Feed iZeit includes an RSS feed for all events, so you can keep a central databse of events and stay up-to-date in Outlook or any other feed reader.Totally customizable Even if you don't know anything about web design, you can customise the colours of the calendar or choose from one of the pre-made themes. More experienced users can change the layout using PHP tags, such as get_month(); to show the current month. The core layout is separated from the presentation, which is contained within a separate CSS file. You can add up to three custom fields, so it's easy to add extra information to every event. Whether you need to list the address of the server your clan will be playing on, or the type of dress code required for a meeting, iZeit presents the information with just a few clicks.Printer Friendly PDF Output Printing web pages often has unpredictable results, and pages rarely look the same on paper as they do onscreen. iZeit can output a list of events a tasks as a PDF file. This allows you to quickly send a schedule via email or print it while retaining its appearance.Public and private events Events can be added as either public or private. IF an event is marked as private, only the user who added it will be able to see it.Automatic invitationsWhen an event is added, a list of attendees' email addresses can be specified. An email will be sent to each address letting them know they've been added to the attendance list for that event.Extensive Control PanelA web based control panel lets you configure all aspects of iZeits operation. You can manage the calendar without the need for technical knowledge.Event commentsUsers can comment on events, so they can provide feedback when you post a new item. You can choose whether to allow everyone permission to comment, just logged in users, or disable comments altogether. Mobile Browser SupportiZeit includes a built-in mobile version to serve stripped down text-only pages which are easy to navigate on a PDA or mobile phone.iCal import/export With iZeit, you can export events to the widely supported iCal format. This allows you to easily transfer events between iZeit and other calendars such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.AJAX Integration Some parts of the calendar use AJAX to instantly reload parts of the page without needing to refresh, making iZeit feel more like a desktop calendar application.Powerful filters You can filter events by category and sort events alphabetically by any field.MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL and Flat File database support iZeit can use either a MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL database or a plain text file to store configuration data, so it runs on most web servers.
